- Lim Young Kyun formed a relationship with Nam June Paik while studying at New York University and the International Center of Photography, and took several pictures of Paik’s artistic career since the 1980s. The current picture shows a scene from a performance with Charlotte Moorman held at the Whitney Museum of American Art in June 1982. The performance by Paik and Moorman was held twice, on the evenings of June 2nd and 3rd. Moorman is playing Concerto for TV Cello and Videotapes (1971). Three monitors that comprised TV Cello displayed Moorman’s appearance while she played the instrument, and her performance distorted the images on the screen
