- Two long horizontal lines with a series of punched holes run across the center of the picture plane and the space between the two lines are divided into rectangular rooms. The same image is repeated in each room, indicating that this is a roll of film. The image contained in the film roll is a profile of two people, facing each other. Nam June Paik often depicted two profiles facing each other using simple lines, which may allude to a metaphoric expression of two-way communication.
