- Nam June Paik wrote the Chinese word 家人, meaning a family or a wife. The word may refer to his wife and colleague Shigeko Kubota, or the 37th of the 64 hexagrams from Book of Changes beginning with 家人 利女貞. The phrase means that a woman plays an essential role in starting a family, making it thrive, and bringing up a great man. Unlike the cursive writing in other works by Paik, this drawing can be characterized by bold and powerful strokes.
